Kotak Securities will provide you with the NRI 3 in 1 Account, which combines PIS, Demat, and Trading accounts, ensuring a seamless and effortless online trading experience.


Please note: Your PIS account will be opened with Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited.


How to open an NRI Account online?

Opening a NRI Demat account, NRI 2-in-1 account, or NRI 3-in-1 account can be a hassle-free process with minimal paperwork. Follow these 3 SIMPLE STEPS to open your NRI Account!

  • Complete the contact form on our website (Our coordinator in your country will reach out and send the digitally filled account opening form)
  • Sign the account opening form
  • Submit documents (We'll arrange a free courier pick-up from your doorstep)

Please note: A coordinator serves as a liaison between the client and Lakshit Financial, assisting with account opening procedures and documentation only. Once the account is active, all operations and transactions will be conducted through online platforms provided by Kotak Securities in India.

  • When overseas

    Opening an NRI account with Lakshit Financial is a seamless and convenient process. Here's how you can get started:


    1. Initiate Your Application Online: Visit our website at www.lakshitfinancial.com. Complete and submit the contact form available on the site to begin your application process.
    2. Personalized Assistance from Our Coordinator in Your Country: After submitting the form, our dedicated coordinator based in your country will contact you at a time that suits you best. They will guide you through the application process for opening an NRI account.
    3. Digital Form and Guidance: Our coordinator will send you a digitally pre-filled NRI Trinity account opening form directly to your address. They will also provide comprehensive information about NRI accounts, and necessary documentation, and assist you with the form completion process.
    4. Convenient Document Collection: Once your form and documents are ready, we offer a complimentary courier pickup service (via DHL). We will collect your documents from your doorstep at a time that's convenient for you.
    5. Efficient Document Processing: The documents will reach our processing center in India within 3 working days of pickup.
    6. Swift Account Opening: If all documents are correctly submitted and in order, your NRI PIS account will be operational within 3 to 5 working days from the date of receipt at our processing center. Subsequently, your NRI Demat and trading account will be activated within 5 to 7 working days after your NRI PIS account is opened.

    Opening an NRI account with Lakshit Financial is straightforward and efficient, even when you visit our office in India. Here's a quick guide to the process:


    1. Visit Our Office: Begin by visiting the Lakshit Financial office in India.
    2. Request an Account Opening Form: At the office, approach the “Sales” desk and ask for an NRI Account Opening Form.
    3. Assistance with Form Filling: Our office staff will be on hand to assist you in filling out the Account Opening Form. They will provide all necessary information about NRI accounts, required documentation, and other relevant details.
    4. Submit Your Application: Once you have filled out the form and gathered all required documents, you can submit these at the office.
    5. Processing of Your Application: After submission, your documents and form are sent to our processing center for verification and processing.
    6. Account Activation Times: If all the documents are correctly submitted and in order, your NRI savings account will be operational within 2 working days from the date of receipt at our processing center. Following this, your NRI trading and Demat account will be activated within 5 to 7 working days.

*All the above documents need to be self attested and verified by our authorised person in India. In case, you are sending forms from other countries, please get all the documents verified by our coordinator in your country or attested by Indian Embassy/ consulate general/ overseas banker/ Notary. The attesting authority should affix a "verified with original" stamp, name, designation, signature and date on the said documents.
